On Sunday, March 5 pastor and author Tommy Brown, will be preaching at FBC and also leading our congregation through a stewardship workshop based on the principles in his new book, The Seven Money Types: Discover How God Wired You to Handle Money. The book, published by Zondervan and available in bookstores everywhere March 14, is a fascinating look at the way God has uniquely designed each of us to approach financial management. Think of it as The Five Love Languages meets Dave Ramsey. In fact, hear what Gary Chapman, international bestselling author of The Five Love Languages, has said about the book:

“The Seven Money Types is a unique approach to understanding how you innately relate to handling money. A fascinating concept!”

Tommy will preach that morning during worship, and then, immediately following an all-church lunch in the fellowship hall, he will lead a workshop on biblical stewardship. The entire event will conclude at 1:30. Childcare will be provided throughout the lunch and event.

This exciting and illuminating event with Tommy will serve as a kickoff to a month-long stewardship focus for us at FBC.
