At First Baptist Church Corbin we emphasize liturgical worship, spiritual development, fellowship, community outreach, social activism, the arts, and critical thinking. Committed to historic Baptist principles, we hold but one creed: “Jesus is Lord.” Likewise, we stand strongly committed to Baptist principles such as the priesthood of all believers, soul freedom, and the separation of church and state. We are passionate about ecumenism and we partner with churches of all denominations to help spread the love of Christ in our community. We value multi-generational relationships, honor both male and female leadership, are firmly rooted in Christian tradition, and embrace the call of serving Christ in the 21st century.
