Our group heads for Nicaragua in less than 2 weeks! It's hard to believe the time has come so soon. What is not hard to believe is that our wonderful church has enabled us to afford this trip. As of last Saturday's Superhero Challenge we have officially raised enough money to go on our trip! Personally, I have worked at this church for over 4 and a half years, and you would think the generosity of our people would no longer amaze me. Yet, here I type these words in amazement. Thank you so much for being the support our students need. You will never know how much it means to our group that we are able to do the things we do because of the wonderful church that stands behind our students. The Superhero Challenge race itself was a huge success, but the fundraising goes all the way back to last summer. The church has been supportive and generous through the whole process.

We look forward to our time in Nicaragua, and we can't wait to share the experience with you. Thank you for caring about our students. Thank you for giving our students a church they can call home. Be in prayer for our students and adults during our time in Nicaragua. Pray that our eyes would be opened. Pray that our hearts would be changed. Pray that our work would be fruitful.
